Petra Zelie is a San Francisco Bay Area-based experimental sound artist working at the intersection of noise, ambient, and queer voice manipulation. Her practice incorporates granular sampling, live synthesis, and site-specific interventions to explore themes of identity, confinement, and sonic resistance.
Recent performances include Stanford University, UC Berkeley, SF Sound, and Indexical.
Petra's work blends ambient textures with harsh noise elements, utilizing contact mics, loopers, and real-time processing to create immersive sonic experiences.
